Each log is individually measured, hewn, cut, and hand scribed by artisans using time-tested methods. Since each log is shaped by hand, no two are exactly alike. But, when woven together by our log crafters, the results are breathtaking!

Jim Barna's handcrafted homes are created from select timbers from the Pacific Northwest, such as Lodgepole Pine, Engleman Spruce, Douglas Fir, and Western Red Cedar. These woods are renowned for their strength and beauty, and are easily shaped with hand tools.
