the Desk of Georgia Kelley, President After relating to this emotion, Gary came home and said, "This is what we need to do... " I left a very stable job to pursue the dream of starting our own log home company. With a Marketing degree and 20 years experience in Sales, we wrote letters, made calls and researched every major log home manufacturer to see who we wanted to represent. Traveling to various manufacturing facilities and talking with representatives gave us a view of what the log home industry had to offer. Our decision to represent Barna Log Homes came as a result of meeting with Jim Barna, the man responsible for many of the new technologies used in the best log homes. As builders, we wanted to represent the leader in the industry who understood that our commitment to excellent service and quality was our number one goal. Jim Barna complied. Almost 10 years later Mountain-Lake Log Homes, Inc. and Barna Log Homes are more committed to each customer's desire to have his or her own log home. With almost 15 years experience in the log home industry, along with Jim Barna's nearly 30 years, we make sure our customer's understand our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our business. Mountain-Lake Log Homes, Inc. has "Three Rules for Success in Business". Rule #I- Take Care of the Customer. Rule #2- Take Care of the Customer. Rule # 3- Take Care of the Customer. Everything else in our business has always worked out. After our first full year in 1994, we received the first ever "Rookie of the Year" Award from Jim Barna. "The Million Dollar Class" Award followed soon after. In 1996, we received "# 3 Top Distributor" in the Country. That year, we were asked by Jim Barna to serve on the newly created "Barna Log Homes Advisory Board". In 1997 came another "# 3 Top Distributor" Award. Other awards we've received include:
